Castor Bushes & Plates
 
Lifted your LandCruiser or Patrol a couple of inches?
When a these vehicles are fitted with raised-height suspension, the castor and camber angles become altered. If the changes in the angles are too great, the vehicle's steering may be affected. From a driver's perspective, the steering may feel very light and/or 'strange'.
A good 'rule of thumb' for 4WD owners is that for every inch of lift height, the change in castor is about one degree.
So, if you have a 2" lift, buy a 2 degree castor bush kit. If you have a 3" lift, buy a 3 degree castor bush kit.
