Greasable Shackles
Regular lubrication is the key to prevent binding and to ensure optimum performance. With standard shackles, this is not usually practical, as the springs must be removed from the vehicle for the bushes to be serviced.
Tough Dog, greaseable shackles and pin kits eliminate this hassle. Just ten minutes is usually all it takes to lubricate all the shackles and pins.

Ubolts
When you upgrade or replace your existing leaf springs it's important to also change your ubolts.
Tough Dog ubolts are manufactured from high tensile premium quality cold-formed rod, incorporating rolled threads to ensure material structure continuity and increased strength.
U-Bolts are coated with a rust preventative coating and come complete with high tensile (grade 8) deep nuts and springs washers.
